Gion Ryokan Q-beh is located in the historic district of the Higashiyama area. Therefore, the streets are complicated. From time to time, we receive feedback from our customers that it was difficult to find.
Please read this page before you come. Since it is an uphill from the bus stop, we recommend that you take a taxi if you have large luggage or have anxiety about walking.
There is a taxi stand on the east side of the central entrance of Kyoto Station (Kyoto Tower side). As of July 2022, the initial fare of taxi (up to 1700m) is 620 yen and the additional fare (every 276m) is 80 yen, so it will cost about 1200 yen to Q-beh.
If the taxi driver has no idea where Q-beh is, you can tell the driver "take me to near Kodaiji Wakuden" so the driver may understand.
There is a bus terminal on the west side of the central entrance of Kyoto Station (Kyoto Tower side). Kyoto City Bus No. 86 and 206 stop at the nearest bus stop "Higashiyamayasui" of Q-beh. Please wait a bus at the D2 platform.
It depends on the traffic conditions, but if there is no traffic jam, it takes about 20 minutes to reach "Higashiyamayasui" and the fare is 230 yen. In addition to cash, you can use PiTaPa, ICOCA, Kitaca, PASMO, Suica, manaca, TOICA, Hayakaken, nimoca, and SUGOCA for payment.
It takes about 7 minutes on foot from the Higashiyamayasui bus stop to Q-beh. Access from the bus stop, refer to the following access map, please.
The nearest station when using the Keihan train is "Gion-shijo". Take Exit 6 and walk to Q-beh for about 18 minutes. Access from the station, refer to the following access map, please.
